Information we collect
When you complete the quote request form, we collect the information you provide, which may include:
- Your name, phone number, and email address
- Your city and state
- Your age and gender
- Whether you use tobacco
- The coverage amount you are interested in
- Who you are looking to protect, and your primary concern
We also automatically collect limited technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and how you move through the site. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta (Facebook) advertising pixel described below.
How we use your information
- To prepare and deliver the insurance quote you requested
- To contact you by phone, email, or text message about mortgage protection and related insurance products
- To submit applications to insurance carriers on your behalf if you choose to move forward
- To measure and improve our advertising and this website

Who we share it with
We share your information with:
- Licensed insurance agents affiliated with LifeNestQuotes who prepare your quote and follow up with you
- Insurance carriers we are appointed with, when needed to obtain quotes or submit an application
- Service providers that operate this site on our behalf, such as our web host and the form delivery service that routes your submission to us
- Authorities or regulators where required by law, subpoena, or a state department of insurance
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not pass it to lead-buying networks or unaffiliated marketers.
One clarification that matters under California law. Because this site uses the Meta advertising pixel, information about your visit is transmitted to Meta and may be used to target advertising to you across other services. California defines that as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising, even though no money changes hands. You can opt out using the instructions in the Advertising and cookies section below, and California residents can also submit an opt-out request to us directly at leads@lifenestquotes.com.
Consent to be contacted
When you submit the quote form, you consent to be contacted at the phone number and email address you provide, including by automated dialing systems, prerecorded messages, and text messages, about insurance products. Consent is not a condition of purchasing anything. Message and data rates may apply.
You can withdraw consent at any time by replying STOP to a text message, using the unsubscribe link in an email, or emailing us at leads@lifenestquotes.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect information already collected.
Advertising and cookies
We advertise on Meta platforms, including Facebook and Instagram. This site uses the Meta pixel, which places cookies and reports back to Meta when you visit the site or submit the form. This lets us measure how our ads perform and reach people with similar interests. It may also allow Meta to associate your visit with your Meta account.
You can limit this through your Meta ad preferences, your browser cookie settings, or the opt-out tools at optout.aboutads.info and youradchoices.com.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests for as long as needed to serve you and to satisfy insurance recordkeeping requirements in the states where we are licensed, which is generally 7 years. After that, we delete or de-identify it.
Security
This site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection and form submissions are transmitted securely. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your rights
California residents. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, to request a copy of it, to request deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information for money, but as explained above, our use of advertising cookies may qualify as sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, and you may opt out of that at any time. Everyone else. Depending on your state, you may have similar rights to access, correct, or delete your information. Contact us at the address below and we will respond as required by your state's law.
Licensing and where we can help
Marcus Peterson is a licensed insurance producer. Insurance is regulated state by state, and we can only discuss, quote, or place coverage in states where a current license is held. If you submit the form from a state where we are not licensed, we will tell you rather than proceed. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell insurance in any state where we are not licensed.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision, and material changes will be posted on this page.
